Girl, 11, goes missing on trip to France

An 11-year-old British girl has gone missing during a school trip to France.

Bunmi Shagaya, who attends Hillmead Primary School in south London, was on a trip to Dieppe when she disappeared yesterday.

"They were at an adventure theme park and had been swimming in a lake," a Foreign Office spokeswoman said.

"We can't confirm whether she was swimming at the time of her disappearance and we can't speculate on what may have happened.

"The family are aware and the French police are investigating."
