‘Half naked’ partygoers arrested for ‘obscene’ dancing

Iranian police arrested about 50 young men and women accused of behaving indecently and dancing obscenely at a Tehran birthday party.

The government-owned newspaper Iran said that vice police entered an apartment after receiving the necessary permit and saw about 50 people aged between 17 and 25 dancing in ‘‘obscene’’ ways, many of them ‘‘half naked.’’
