Amanda Barrie 'hated the way Alma was killed off'

Amanda Barrie has revealed she hated the way her character Alma was killed off in Coronation Street.

She says the show's producers betrayed her trust that Alma's death from cervical cancer would be treated with the sensitivity it deserved.
