Vietnam will hold a mass trial in two weeks for 41 people accused of plotting unrest during mass protests in the Central Highlands, a court official said today.

Seven of the defendants are charged with damaging national security, 20 with fighting enforcement officials and 14 with disturbing public order, he said on customary condition of anonymity.
