Street stars in row over pay cut proposals

Furious Coronation Street stars are in discussions with the hit soap’s managers over proposals which would slash their wages.

Legends such as Barbara Knox, who plays Rita Sullivan, and Bill Roache (Ken Barlow) face pay cuts to bring their earnings in line with other stars on the ITV soap.
