Swiss vote over whether to arm their peacekeepers

The Swiss are holding a referendum over plans to arm the country's peacekeepers serving with international forces.

The Government wants an end to arrangements like the one in Kosovo, where a Swiss force has to rely on a unit from Austria for protection.
