Car bomb explodes in Spanish city

A car bomb has exploded in the northern Spanish city of Logrono, but no-one was injured.

The detonation occurred a few minutes after police received a telephone call warning that a bomb would go off, the Spanish news agency Efe said.

The explosion shattered windows of cars, shops and office buildings over a widespread area of the city centre.
