British hauliers to resume fuel price protests
British hauliers are planning to resume their protests against fuel prices, a leading campaigner says.
Mark Green, from Cross Hands, Carmarthenshire, South Wales says hauliers across Wales, England and Scotland will be driving to Downing Street or protesting at oil refineries.
Mr Green, a key figure in the September protests, says hauliers from Cardiff, Cross Hands, and Avonmouth in Bristol will hold separate meetings to discuss a course of action.
He said: "We want to give the Government a reminder that we are unhappy and that they can't forget about us.
"We are going to do something and we are going to keep going until we are happy. We have been ignored and the Government can't palm us off."
