Middle East is rocked by more violence overnight

There was more Israel-Palestinian violence overnight with Israeli helicopters and missiles pounding Gaza.

Police posts, an iron factory and a post of the elite Force 17 security unit were targeted. A hospital doctor said no one was injured, but seven people were treated for shock.
