Pair to consider appeal against life sentences

Two British women jailed for life in the United Arab Emirates for drug offences were today considering whether to appeal against their sentences.

Anne Kidd, 32, from Leeds, and Anna Hamilton, also known as Anna Bartlett, 22, from Southend-on-Sea, Essex, escaped the death penalty.
