Israelis launch rocket attacks on police HQ

Israeli helicopters shelled Palestinian police headquarters in two West Bank towns today despite pleas by the US and Russia to end the bloodshed.

The rocket attack came a day after Israeli warplanes struck for the first time in eight months of fighting in retaliation for a deadly bombing near Tel Aviv.
