Six dead, 82 hurt in Colombia car blast
A car bomb has exploded in Medellin, Colombia, killing six people and injuring 82 others.
Police said the bomb was placed in a Volkswagen car and set off by remote control.
It was parked alongside a park lined with discos, bars and restaurants, popular with executives and college students. Authorities are unaware of a motive for the attack.
Medellin was the scene of frequent bombings by drug traffickers in the 1980s and early '90s.
