Labour comment on yesterday's troubles
John Prescott says he acted in self-defence when he lashed out at a protestor in north Wales.
The British Deputy Prime Minister punched a man on the chin after he was hit by an egg in Rhyl. A 29-year-old man was arrested and later released on bail.
Rikki Proffit was part of the demo to highlight farming issues and saw the fight.
He told journalists this morning he believes Mr Prescott was out of order.
The woman who ambushed Tony Blair outside a Birmingham hospital yesterday says she doesn't regret the confrontation.
Sharon Storer told the PM that her partner, a cancer patient, wasn't getting proper care because of Labour. This morning, she said she had lost faith with all politicians.
At his party's annual election briefing, Mr Blair said: "Sharon showed real anxiety. I've asked for a report on her individual case.
You must sympathise with a woman in such obvious distress, but I will say this.
"There's still a great deal to do in the NHS, and this is precisely why we should and must continue to carry out the investment we've been interested in for so long."
