FBI 'spy' faces death penalty over double agent charges

The US Government, is refusing to negotiate a deal with accused F B I, spy, Robert Hanssen, that would save him from a death sentence.

His lawyer said, talks with federal prosecutors about a plea bargain had broken down over the Government's refusal to negotiate a deal.
