Smoke alert disrupts cannel services

Channel Tunnel train services were disrupted today after a smoke alarm went off and three lorry drivers had to evacuate a freight shuttle train.

The incident happened at 7.44am on the French side of the tunnel as a freight shuttle travelled from Folkestone to Calais.
