Bob Geldof 'makes £50m from Survivor'
Sir Bob Geldof is reported to have made £50m from new reality TV show Survivor even before it's been shown on TV.
Geldof owns a third of Castaway Television, the company which has produced Survivor.
The show is expected to battle it out with Big Brother 2 in the ratings.
Sir Bob is one of the three owners of Castaway, which is valued at £150m. The company came up with the idea for Survivor which has been a smash hit in America.
It is due to begin on ITV on May 21 at 7pm. It will shown four times a week. The show follows 16 contestants as they battle it out on a remote desert island to win the life-changing prize of £1m.
One survivor will be voted off the island at the end of each episode.
