Two die when truck smashes into seven cars

A truck smashed into seven cars early on a busy Warsaw-Berlin road today, killing four people.

Authorities said the Polish-registered truck, heading toward Warsaw, apparently swerved into oncoming traffic to avoid hitting the tail end of a traffic jam. All the dead were in the cars.
