Asian gang kick white man unconscious

An Asian gang has kicked a white man unconscious in Bradford city centre, leaving him with a fractured skull.

Two white brothers, aged 28 and 26, were set upon by up to 12 Asian men as they walked through the Westgate area towards the Arndale Centre in the West Yorkshire city.

One of the men suffered a fractured skull and was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "For no apparent reason they were set upon by approximately 12 men who shouted various comments as they kicked the two brothers to the ground.

"The attackers then fled in the direction of Centenary Square leaving one of the victims unconscious. The matter is being treated as a racially motivated attack."
