A 17-year-old girl has been taken to hospital after she plunged 80ft over the top of a cliff in the Scottish Highlands.

A 17-year-old girl has been taken to hospital after she plunged 80ft over the top of a cliff in the Scottish Highlands.

The teenager, who has not yet been named by police, is believed to have been abseiling at Latheronwheel, about 18 miles south of Wick in Caithness.
