Madonna delays start of world tour

Madonna has cancelled two concerts in Cologne that were to launch her first world tour in eight years, and will instead open the tour in Barcelona on June 9, organisers announced today.

"Due to technical problems the show will not be able to start before Barcelona," said Madonna’s manager Caresse Henry.
