Dog 'may have triggered Athens car bomb'
Greek police believe a pet rottweiler set off the homemade bomb that killed a British woman in Athens.
Police said the dog accidentally knocked against the bomb's remote control on the back seat of Susan Aristidi's car.
The dog also died as a result of the explosion. Aristidi has been linked to a Greek family allegedly involved in organised crime. Police believe she had close links with the Grigoratos crime family.
Two of its members have been murdered in the last 18 months and it is thought the family was planning revenge attacks.
