Tom Cruise was the father of the baby Nicole Kidman miscarried in March, according to papers filed by the actress in their divorce proceedings.

Kidman is seeking joint legal custody of the couple's two children, Isabella, eight, and Connor, six, in the answer she filed on Thursday to Cruise's February 7 divorce petition.
