Child sex charges against British banker dismissed

A Thai provincial court has dismissed child sex abuse charges against a British banker who was arrested in a hotel room allegedly in the company of three naked boys, a court official said today.

On March 2, the Chonburi provincial court freed Lionel Peter McCarthy, 53, who had faced three counts of sexually abusing minors, said the court official, who refused to give more details.
