Bush's daughter warned over under-age drinking
George W Bush's 19-year-old daughter Jenna has been warned by police for having alcohol below the permitted age.
A ticket was issued by police in Austin, Texas. Officers were making checks at nightclubs along the city's popular East Sixth Street.
Officers questioned her and another woman they believed to be under 21 - that is the age at which Americans are allowed to drink alcohol. They were given a citation, but were not arrested.
Jenna Bush is a first-year student at the University of Texas, in Austin.
White House officials said: "We respect the privacy of this young woman and we're not going to comment on her personal life."
Jenna and her twin Barbara graduated from high school last May in Austin. Barbara Bush attends Yale University.
