Death crash driver 'suicidal'
A woman accused of killing seven people in a crash as she drove the wrong way on a highway was suicidal and did not brake as at least nine drivers swerved to avoid her car, a court was told.
Witnesses said that Judy Kirby, 32, accelerated rapidly just before the crash with a minivan on March 25, 2000, prosecutor Terry Iacoli said in his opening statement.
