Bush to 'wait and see' over Peruvian jet incident

A US surveillance flight on patrol over Peru directed Peruvian warplanes to intercept a small plane that turned out to be ferrying American missionaries rather than drugs, a US official said yesterday.

The Peruvian planes shot it down, killing two Americans.
