Who you gonna call? Trash busters, says Madrid

Madrid has agreed to cough up £5m a year to create a team of rapid-reaction street cleaners equipped with lap-top computers and satellite positioning equipment.

The 120-strong team has been christened the Special Service for Urgent Cleaning.
