UK police arrest two in handbag killing case

A man and a woman were arrested in connection with the death of a costume designer who was run over and killed after two thieves stole her handbag, Scotland Yard said today.

Detectives detained a 35-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman in north London just after midnight.
