Jackson Five reunite for Michael

Michael Jackson will appear live on stage with the rest of the Jackson Five for the first time since the 1980s.

The reunion will celebrate his 30 years as a solo artist.

Michael Jackson: The Solo Years Thirtieth Anniversary Celebration, will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York on September 30.

Jackson says: "I look forward to performing live and reuniting with my brothers on this special night."

Other acts set to join Jackson on stage include Britney Spears, NSync, Whitney Houston, Shaggy, Jill Scott and Mya.

The show will include a 300-member gospel choir, 200-member children's choir, 48-piece orchestra and 40 dancers.

Jackson is also expected to unveil a new song from his forthcoming album at the concert, which will be recorded for television broadcast.
