A German U-boat lavatory is among the ‘‘treasures’’ found during a unique amnesty for unregistered wreck finds, it was disclosed today.

Divers or beachcombers are being allowed to hand in undersea artefacts to the Maritime and Coastguard Agency without fear of prosecution.
