British Police Complaints Authority to launch investigation

An investigation was under way today by the British Police Complaints Authority after a 14-year-old boy on a motorbike suffered head injuries while being followed by a patrol car.

The youngster, who was in a critical condition in hospital, was followed by police officers after they saw him riding the bike without a crash helmet on Saturday night.
