Eleven hurt in coach crash

Eleven people are reported to have been injured in a coach crash in central London.

Police say a coach crashed into a branch of Boots the Chemist in Regent Street.

The male driver of the coach was initially trapped. He was taken to hospital with head injuries after being released.

The accident occurred near to the junction of Margaret Street. The coach mounted the pavement and crashed through the window.

The Boots branch was covered with scaffolding at the time of the accident.

Fire and ambulance crews are attending the scene.
