Railtrack plans repairs blitz over Easter

Railtrack has announced a nationwide offensive to renovate miles of track over the Easter holiday.

Work programmes include the East Coast mainline near Leeds and Newcastle, the West Coast main line near Manchester, the Great Western near Plymouth, Cardiff and Bristol, the Great Eastern main line near Stratford and Bethnal Green and on the Chiltern lines between Banbury and Leamington.
