Israel launches rockets at Gaza police station

A Palestinian policeman was critically wounded when Israeli tanks and naval patrol boats fired heavy machine-guns at a police station on the Gaza seafront.

The building is used by Force 17, a Palestinian security agency which Israel accuses of being responsible for many of the shooting attacks on Jewish settlements in the past six months of fighting.
