Maoist rebels kill 28 policemen

Nepal's Maoist rebels have killed at least 28 policemen and wounded 12 others during an attack on a police station in the remote mountain village of Naumule yesterday.

The police said a large number of rebels were also killed, but the number is unknown because they always carry away their dead and wounded.
