Parisian serial killer jailed for life

A 38-year-old Frenchman dubbed ‘‘the killer of eastern Paris’’ was jailed for life today for the rape and murder of seven women.

Guy Georges, who admitted to the killings during the trial will not be eligible for parole for 22 years.
