Australian Army officer found guilty of torturing comrade
A bullying Australian army officer put a pillow case over the head of a junior for 15 hours and terrorised his victim with ants.
Major Troy Quinn masked, bound and gagged Lieutenant David Good after he was captured on a training exercise.
Major Quinn was found guilty of ill-treatment at a court martial and fined 2,000 Australian dollars - the equivalent of Stg£690.
The incident happened during manoeuvres in Malaysia.
Major Troy threatened to put his terrified victim on an ants nest and shoved something under his shirt.
He then said to Lieutenant Good, "Are they biting you?". He was kept trussed up for 15 hours.
