Britain to ban pig swill
The British Government is expected to introduce a ban on pig swill this week after it was blamed for causing the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease.
The move is one of a number of measures under consideration to ensure there are no more outbreaks of the highly infectious virus in the future.
Meanwhile, the Tories have increased the pressure on the Government to postpone elections planned for May.
Shadow Foreign Secretary Francis Maude said the Prime Minister, Tony Blair, doesn't seem to understand the seriousness of the situation.
