Woman accused of killing handicapped daughter
A Canadian woman has been charged with murdering her handicapped daughter.
Chelsea Craig, 14, died from what Montreal police called a "poison cocktail".
The girl's mother, Rachel Craig, was admitted to hospital in a stable condition after apparently drinking the same concoction.
Police said she would enter a plea, either in court or at the hospital.
Chelsea suffered from a brain disorder that caused mental and physical disabilities. Police said Chelsea acted "like a baby" and wore nappies.
James Craig, the husband of Rachel and father of Chelsea, found them on Monday when he returned to their suburban Montreal home.
