Nine injured in Middle East shootings

At least seven Palestinians and two Israeli soldiers have been wounded in a series of overnight shootings in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

Seven Palestinians were injured in the southern Gaza Strip, near the border with Egypt, in shooting that began late on Monday night, a Palestinian hospital said.
