Fighting continues in Macedonia

Government troops are continuing to fire on ethnic Albanian rebels in Macedonia amid diplomatic efforts from Europe and Russia to avert another Balkan war.

They are targetting the foothills of Tetovo where guerrillas have been hiding.

The country's Prime Minister has announced a crackdown on seperatists including a curfew and restrictions on movement in the region.
