Hostages 'taken' in Belgian bank raid

An armed gang has taken the family of a bank manager hostage to force him to open the vaults of his bank in the Belgian city of Arlon.

The gang reportedly broke into the manager's home late last night, held the family hostage overnight, then forced the manager to let them into the branch of the Dexia Bank this morning.
