Explosion kills two, wounds several in central Baghdad

An explosion at a bus station has killed two people and wounded several others in central Baghdad.

The blast occurred shortly after midnight, according to the official Iraqi News Agency.

It did not give the cause of the blast, and said authorities are investigating.

"The explosion led to the killing of two people and the injuring of several others, some of whom are in critical condition" in hospital, the agency quoted an unidentified security official as saying.
