Two feared dead after mine explosion in Arctic

Two people are feared dead after an explosion in an Arctic mine.

Rescue workers have dug through rubble in search of the workers.

At least four were injured in the blast at the Norilsk Nikel complex.

The occurred at a depth of about 200 meters, said Viktor Beltsov, a spokesman for the Emergency Situations Ministry.

He says the blast was caused by an explosive device being used by mine workers.

The explosives went off prematurely, according to reports.
