First foot and mouth outbreak suspected in Italy

Italian vets are investigating the country's first suspected outbreak of foot and mouth disease.

A number of sheep from a farm in Pescara, south east of Rome, show possible signs of the disease and have been sent to a national control centre in northern Brescia.
