Two British counties get first foot and mouth cases
Two British counties have recorded their first cases of foot-and-mouth disease as the total number of outbreaks rose to 120.
The British Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food said the disease was found among 620 sheep at a farm near Axbridge, Somerset. Officials have so far been unable to establish any link with other cases elsewhere.
Cheshire has also had its first case of the disease as infected cattle were discovered at a farm.
