Blair expresses sympathy to train families

British Prime Minister Tony Blair has extended his condolences to the families of the 13 dead and 70 injured in the Selby rail crash.

Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott, on his way to the scene, will brief the PM before making a Commons' statement shortly after 7pm.
