Land Rover driver survives
The driver of the land rover involved in the Selby rail crash is reported to have survived.
The vehicle slid from a motorway down an embankment onto the track, where it was mangled by a freight train at around 6.20am.
The driver had earlier escaped uninjured from the land rover, and immediately called the emergency services.
A passenger train then collided with the freight train.
13 people have died, with 56 being treated at various Yorkshire hospitals with injuries.
