200,000 Mozambicans threatened by flooding

More than 200,000 people are under threat from Mozambique's latest floods.

Many are stranded on islands created by the floodwaters.

Rescue teams are preparing to evacuate as many of the victims as possible.

The worst hit areas are Marromeu in the southern Zambezi River valley and Inyagomba district.

Around 16,000 people have already been moved out, according to Channel Africa News.
