EU farm ministers discuss foot and mouth disease

EU farm ministers will meet in Brussels later today to discuss the deepening crisis over foot and mouth disease.

The incineration of thousands of slaughtered pigs, sheep and cattle has begun in Britain in an effort to prevent the further spread of the contagious disease.
